5. Umarnin Aiki

5.1. Attaching the Towball

  3. Push firmly until it clicks into place. The locking mechanism should automatically engage.

5.2. Detaching the Towball

  1. Insert the key into the locking mechanism and unlock it.
  2. Rotate the knob or lever as per the towbar's design (refer to specific markings on the towbar).
  3. Pull the towball component downwards and out of the receiver.
  4. Store the towball in a clean, dry place, preferably in its protective bag.
  5. Place the protective cap over the towbar receiver opening on the vehicle to prevent dirt and debris from entering.

  • Dubawa: Before each use, visually inspect the towbar for any cracks, bends, excessive wear, or corrosion. Check that all bolts are tight (if accessible and part of user maintenance).
  • Ajiya: When not in use, store the removable towball in a dry environment to protect it from the elements.

  • Difficulty Attaching/Detaching: Ensure the mechanism is clean and lubricated. Check for any obstructions in the receiver. Do not force the towball.
  • Towball Not Locking: Verify that the towball is fully inserted. Check for debris in the locking mechanism. Ensure the key is in the correct position for locking.
