This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Globe Electric 24512 Daily Indoor Mechanical Timer. This device is designed to automatically turn electrical appliances on and off at programmed times, helping to conserve energy and enhance convenience. Please read these instructions thoroughly before first use and retain for future reference.

The Globe Electric 24512 Mechanical Timer features a 24-hour dial with push-down pins for setting ON/OFF times and a manual override switch.

- Kiran Awa 24: The central rotating dial is marked with hours from 1 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 12 AM. It rotates clockwise over a 24-hour period.
- Programmable Pins: The outer ring consists of multiple segments (pins). Each pin represents a 15-minute interval. Pushing a pin DOWN activates the connected appliance during that interval; leaving it UP deactivates it.
- Canjawar Canjawar Hannu: Located at the top, this slider switch allows you to bypass the timer's programming.
- Hanyar fito: A standard electrical outlet on the side of the timer where your appliance plugs in.
Saita
- Saita Lokacin Yanzu: Rotate the 24-hour dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the arrow indicator on the timer's face (refer to Figure 1). Ensure you distinguish between AM and PM hours.
- Lokutan Kunna/Kashe Shirin:
- Each segment (pin) on the outer ring represents 15 minutes.
- Push DOWN all pins corresponding to the time periods you want the connected appliance to be ON.
- Leave UP all pins corresponding to the time periods you want the connected appliance to be OFF.
- Haɗa Kayan Aiki: Plug the appliance you wish to control into the outlet on the side of the timer (refer to Figure 2). Ensure the appliance's power switch is in the ON position.
- Plug in Timer: Insert the timer into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
- Zaɓi Yanayin Aiki: Slide the manual override switch at the top to the "TIMER ON" position for automatic operation based on your programmed settings.
Umarnin Aiki
Once set up, the timer will automatically turn your connected appliance ON and OFF according to the programmed schedule. The dial will continuously rotate, indicating the current time.
Canjawar Canjawar Hannu
The manual override switch provides flexibility to control the appliance independently of the timer's program:
- TIMER ON: (Default position for programmed operation) The timer will follow the ON/OFF schedule set by the pins.
- OUTLET ON: The connected appliance will remain ON continuously, bypassing the timer's program. The timer dial will continue to rotate, but the output will stay ON.
