Mounting and Finishing

  1. Insert Switch: Carefully push the wired timer switch into the wall box.
  2. Secure Switch: Use the provided screws to secure the timer switch to the wall box.
  3. Haɗa Faranti na Bango: Mount the included wall plate over the switch.

1. Farawa

When the timer is first powered, all indicator lights will briefly illuminate and then turn off after a self-diagnosis process. This indicates the timer is ready for use.

2. Setting a Countdown Program

To activate a countdown, simply press the button corresponding to your desired time (5, 10, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes). The indicator light on the selected button will illuminate, and the countdown will begin. The connected device will turn off automatically once the countdown is complete.

3. Shifting to Another Countdown Program

If a countdown is active and you wish to change the duration, press a different countdown button. The indicator light on the previously active button will turn off, and the light on the newly selected button will illuminate. The new countdown program will then begin.

4. Activating the Daily Repeat Function

To enable the daily repeat function, press the Maimaita button while a countdown program is running. The indicator light on the Maimaita button will illuminate. The current program will automatically run again at the same time on the following day.

5. Deactivating the Daily Repeat Function (2 Ways)

There are two methods to deactivate the daily repeat function:

  1. Press REPEAT Button: Danna maɓallin Maimaita button again. Its indicator light will turn off. This will deactivate the repeat function for any ongoing program.
  2. Press ON/OFF Button: Danna maɓallin KASHE/KASHE button. This will terminate the ongoing program and also deactivate the daily repeat function.

6. Termination of a Countdown Program

A countdown program will terminate automatically when its set time expires. The indicator light for that program will turn off, and the power output to the connected device will be cut off.

7. Always On Mode

If a countdown is already running, or if the daily repeat function is active, press the KASHE/KASHE button twice to set the timer to 'Always On' mode. The KASHE/KASHE indicator light will illuminate, and the device will remain powered indefinitely.

If the timer is in 'Off' mode, press the KASHE/KASHE button once to set the timer to 'Always On' mode. The KASHE/KASHE haske mai nuna alama zai haskaka.

8. Terminating Always On Mode

To terminate 'Always On' mode:

  1. Press ON/OFF Button: Danna maɓallin KASHE/KASHE button sau ɗaya. The KASHE/KASHE indicator light will turn off, and the power output will be cut off.
  2. Select Countdown Program: Press any of the preset countdown buttons (5, 10, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes). This will initiate a new countdown program and terminate 'Always On' mode.

9. Restarting a Running Countdown Program

To restart a running countdown program:

  1. Terminate and Re-select: Danna maɓallin KASHE/KASHE button to terminate the current program, then immediately press the desired countdown button to restart it.
  2. Shift Program: Alternatively, press a different countdown button, and then press the original countdown button you wish to restart.

To maintain your BN-LINK Countdown Digital Wall Timer Switch, ensure the power is off at the circuit breaker before cleaning. Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Regular inspection for any loose wiring or damage is recommended.

  • Countdown not starting: Ensure a specific time button is pressed and its indicator light is on.

  • Device not turning off: Check if the timer is in 'Always On' mode (ON/OFF indicator illuminated). If so, press the ON/OFF button to turn it off.
