Gabatarwa

Proper setup ensures optimal performance of your CD-400U. Follow these steps for installation and connection.

The CD-400U is designed for rackmount installation. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

- XLR Balanced Outputs: For professional connections and long cable runs, use the XLR outputs.
- RCA Unbalanced Outputs: For standard audio connections, use the RCA outputs.
- Independent Tuner Output: An independent RCA output connector is equipped for the AM/FM tuner, allowing simultaneous playback with other media.
Haɗin Antenna
- FM eriya: Connect the supplied FM antenna to the dedicated FM input.

- Saukewa: RS-232C. Connect to an external controller for remote command operation.

Ikon Gabatarwa
The front panel provides essential playback controls (Play, Stop, Pause, Fast Forward/Rewind) and menu navigation. A locking feature is available to prevent accidental operation.

CD sake kunnawa
- Insert an audio CD or data CD into the slot.
- Danna maɓallin MAJIYA button until 'CD' appears on the display.
- Latsa WASA don fara sake kunnawa.
- Use the numerical keypad or multi-jog dial to select tracks.
Kebul/SD sake kunnawa
- Insert a USB memory device or SD/SDHC card into the respective slot.
- Danna maɓallin MAJIYA button until 'USB' or 'SD' appears on the display.
- Latsa WASA to start playback. Supported formats include WAV, MP3, AAC, and WMA.

Bluetooth Wireless Playback
- Danna maɓallin MAJIYA button until 'Bluetooth' appears on the display.
- Rike da BAYA button for approximately 2 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for 'CD-400U' and select it to pair.
- Once paired, you can stream music wirelessly. Press the BAYA button again to reconnect after initial pairing.

AM/FM Tuner Aiki
- Danna maɓallin MAJIYA button until 'FM' or 'AM' appears on the display.
- Use the left/right arrow buttons or the multi-jog dial to tune to a station.
- To automatically find the next station, press the double arrow buttons (Fast Forward/Rewind).
- To set presets, press SHIFT sannan A.PRESET. Press the multi-jog dial to confirm. Up to 20 presets can be saved.

Dubbing Function
The CD-400U allows dubbing audio from a CD or tuner to an SD/SDHC card or USB memory device without needing a computer.
- Set the source to either CD or AM/FM.
- Latsa SHIFT sannan DUB.
- Use the multi-jog dial to select the destination (USB or SD).
- Press the multi-jog dial to start recording.
- Latsa TSAYA to end recording. If the source is a CD, recording will stop automatically when the CD finishes.
Ƙaddamar da fitarwa
If the audio output is too high, you can attenuate it. Navigate to the menu using GIDA/MENU and adjust the 'A.Out Att.' setting. Attenuation can be set up to -18 dB.
Power On Play
This feature allows the unit to automatically resume playback from the last source when powered on. To enable/disable, press SHIFT sannan P.O.PLAY.
Kulle Kulle
To prevent unauthorized operation, you can lock the front panel controls. Press SHIFT sannan KULLE. To unlock, repeat the process.
Incremental Play
When enabled, this function allows the unit to skip to the beginning of the next track when the PLAY button is pressed during playback. When the STOP button is pressed during playback, the unit skips to the beginning of the next track and stands by.
Yanayin Serial
This setting allows you to choose whether the unit is controlled remotely via RS-232C or Ethernet (with optional card).
Tuner Out Select
You can route the tuner audio through the main stereo outputs or exclusively through the independent tuner outputs.
Dubbing Format
When dubbing, you can select the audio quality and resolution (e.g., MP3: 128 kbps, WAV) to manage available recording time.
Kulle Nesa na IR
If the front panel is locked, the IR remote can also be locked to prevent control.
Saita Factory
This option allows you to reset the entire unit to its original factory default settings.
