3.1 Cajin Na'urar

Before initial use, fully charge the KDC350. Connect the device to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

3.2 Kunnawa / Kashewa

• Don Kunnawa: Press and hold the power button (usually the 'SCAN' button or a dedicated power button, refer to device markings) until the display illuminates.
• Don Kashe: Press and hold the power button until the device powers down, or navigate through the menu to select 'Power Off'.

3.3 Haɗin Bluetooth

1. Ensure the KDC350 is powered on.
2. On the KDC350, navigate to the Bluetooth menu.
3. Select 'Pairing Mode' or 'Discoverable Mode'.
4. On your host device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
5. Select 'KDC350' from the list of found devices.
6. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. A successful connection will be indicated on both devices.

4.1 Scanning Barcodes

1. Point the KDC350's scanning window at the barcode you wish to scan.
2. Press the 'SCAN' button. A red aiming beam will appear.
3. Position the aiming beam over the center of the barcode.
4. A successful scan will be indicated by an audible beep and/or a green LED flash. The scanned data will appear on the KDC350's display and/or be transmitted to the connected host device.

4.2 Data Collection Modes

The KDC350 supports various data collection modes. Refer to the device's on-screen menu for options such as:

• Keyboard Wedge Mode: Transmits scanned data directly as keyboard input to the connected device.
• Application Mode: Utilizes KOAMTAC's KT Sync software for advanced data management and inventory functions.
• Yanayin Batch: Stores scanned data internally for later upload.

4.3 Using the Keypad and Display

The integrated keypad and display allow for navigation through menus, manual data entry, and verification of scanned information. Use the navigation keys (left/right arrows) and the 'SCAN' button (often acts as 'Enter' or 'Select') to interact with the device's interface.
