4. Saita da Shigarwa
The RWX73M consists of two main parts: the contact unit and the magnet unit. For proper operation, these two parts must be installed in close proximity to each other on a door or window frame.

4.1. Zabar Wuri
Install the detector on the frame of the door or window you wish to monitor. The contact unit should be mounted on the stationary part (frame), and the magnet unit on the moving part (door/window). Ensure the two units are aligned and within 1 cm of each other when the door/window is closed.
4.2. Mounting the Units
- Shirya Surface: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure good adhesion if using adhesive, or to mark screw holes accurately.
- Mount the Contact Unit: Secure the larger contact unit to the door/window frame using the provided screws or adhesive strips.
- Mount the Magnet Unit: Secure the smaller magnet unit to the door or window itself, ensuring it aligns with the marked area on the contact unit when the door/window is closed. The gap between the two units should be minimal (ideally less than 1 cm).
- Daidaita Gwajin: Close the door/window and verify that the contact and magnet units are perfectly aligned.
4.3. Pairing with Risco Agility System
The RWX73M must be enrolled into your Risco Agility alarm system. Refer to your Risco Agility system's installation manual for detailed instructions on enrolling wireless detectors. Generally, this involves:
- Putting the Agility panel into enrollment mode.
- Activating the RWX73M (e.g., by opening and closing the door/window, or pressing a tamper switch if available).
- Confirming successful enrollment on the panel.
Ensure the detector is assigned to the correct zone and configured with appropriate attributes (e.g., entry/exit, perimeter).
5. Aiki
Once installed and successfully paired with your Risco Agility system, the RWX73M operates automatically:
- When the door or window is rufe, the contact unit and magnet unit are in close proximity, indicating a secure state.
- When the door or window is bude, the magnet unit moves away from the contact unit. The RWX73M detects this separation and immediately transmits a signal to the Risco Agility alarm panel.
- The alarm panel then processes this signal according to its programming (e.g., triggers an alarm if the system is armed, logs the event).
- The bidirectional communication allows the panel to monitor the detector's status, including battery life and supervision signals.
6. Kulawa
The Risco RWX73M is designed for low maintenance. However, periodic checks are recommended:
- Tsaftacewa: Gently wipe the exterior of the units with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or dirt. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Matsayin Baturi: The device is designed with an internal, long-life battery. Your Risco Agility alarm panel will typically indicate a low battery condition for the detector. When a low battery signal is received, contact your alarm system installer or Risco support for service, as the battery is generally not user-replaceable.
- Gwajin Aiki: Periodically test the detector by arming your system and opening the monitored door/window to ensure it triggers the alarm as expected.
