The Valberg FRS-93T EL is a fire-resistant safe designed to protect documents and valuables from fire hazards. It features a robust construction with fire-resistant concrete filling, offering 60 minutes of fire protection. The safe is equipped with both an electronic combination lock and a key lock for enhanced security. It includes internal storage features such as a lockable drawer and two height-adjustable shelves.

Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Ensure the safe is placed on a stable, level surface. The safe is equipped with removable wheels for easier positioning. If desired, these wheels can be removed.
2. Battery Installation for Electronic Lock
The electronic lock requires 4 AAA 1.5V batteries (not supplied). These batteries are installed within the safe lock mechanism. Open the safe using the emergency key (if provided) or the factory default code (refer to specific lock instructions if available, otherwise assume it's a new setup). Locate the battery compartment, insert the batteries, and close the compartment.

For added security, the safe can be anchored to the floor. An anchor bolt is not included. Locate the pre-drilled holes at the base of the safe. Use appropriate anchor bolts for your floor type to secure the safe firmly.

Upon first use or after battery installation, you will need to set your personal electronic code. The electronic lock allows for a 4 to 6 digit code combination. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the electronic lock for the exact procedure to set your code. It is crucial to choose a memorable code and keep it confidential.
2. Opening the Safe with Electronic Lock
- Enter your 4 to 6 digit personal code on the keypad.
- Press the confirmation button (usually 'E' or '#').
- If the code is correct, a signal (light/sound) will indicate successful entry. Turn the handle within a few seconds to open the door.
3. Opening the Safe with Key Lock
The safe can also be locked and opened using the key lock. Insert the key into the keyhole and turn it to unlock or lock the safe. This can be used independently or in conjunction with the electronic lock.

Close the safe door firmly. Turn the handle to engage the locking bolts. For electronic locking, ensure the handle is turned to the locked position. For key locking, turn the key to the locked position and remove it.

- Shirye-shiryen Daidaitacce: The safe includes two height-adjustable shelves. To adjust, remove the shelves, reposition the shelf supports to the desired height, and place the shelves back.
- Lockable Drawer: A convenient lockable drawer is provided for smaller, more sensitive items. Use the dedicated key for this drawer.

The electronic lock will provide an indication when the batteries are discharged below a permissible level. It is recommended to replace all 4 AAA 1.5V batteries promptly when this indication appears. Even if the batteries are fully discharged, your code will remain stored in the safe's memory.
