5.1 Ayyukan Maɓalli
- Alamar agogo: Used to set the current time and day.
- P: Program button, used to enter and navigate through programming modes.
- D+: Day button, used to adjust the day of the week.
- H+: Hour button, used to adjust the hour.
- M+: Minute button, used to adjust the minute.
- C/R: Cancel/Recall or Reset button. Press to clear settings or reset the device.
- Ikon hannun hannu: Manual override button, to switch the output ON/OFF manually, overriding current program.
5.2 Initial Setup and Reset
Upon first use or after a prolonged power outage, the display may be blank or show incorrect time. Press the C/R button (often recessed, requiring a pointed object) to reset the device. The internal battery will charge once power is supplied to the unit.
