  2. For Cadence: Attach the Vortex sensor to the inside of your bicycle's crank arm using the provided rubber ring. Ensure it is securely fastened and does not interfere with pedaling.

The Vortex sensor can operate in either speed or cadence mode. Two sensors are required for simultaneous speed and cadence data.

4.3 Initial Power On and GPS Acquisition

  1. Press and hold the power button (usually the rightmost button) to turn on the XOSS G+ Gen2.
  2. Place the device outdoors in an open area to acquire a GPS signal. The GPS icon on the screen will become solid when a signal is acquired. This may take a few moments.

4.4 Connecting to the XOSS App

  1. Download the XOSS app from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android).

  1. Ensure GPS signal is acquired (solid GPS icon).
  2. Press the left button (Play) to start recording your ride.
  3. During the ride, you can press the left button again to pause recording. Press it again to resume.
  4. To end the ride, long press the left button. The ride data will be saved.

5.4 Synchronizing Data with XOSS App and Strava

After completing a ride, you can upload your data to the XOSS app and synchronize it with Strava.
