Hydraulic Jack Assembly:

  1. Unpack all components and inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Assemble the two-piece handle by screwing the upper part into the lower part.
  3. Insert the assembled handle into the handle socket on the jack. Secure it if there's a locking mechanism (e.g., a set screw).
  4. Bleeding the Hydraulic System: Before first use, or if the jack has been stored horizontally, it may be necessary to bleed air from the hydraulic system.
    • Turn the release valve counter-clockwise to open it.
    • Pump the handle several times to expel any air.
    • Turn the release valve clockwise to close it. The jack should now operate correctly.
  5. Place the rubber pad onto the jack's saddle for vehicle protection.

Jack Stand Preparation:

  1. Ensure the locking pin is securely attached to the stand via its chain.
  2. Adjust the height of the jack stands to the desired level by pulling the locking pin, extending the support column, and re-inserting the pin through the appropriate hole. Ensure the pin passes completely through both sides of the column and the outer tube.

Lifting a Vehicle with the Hydraulic Jack:

  1. Shiri: Park the vehicle on a firm, level surface. Engage the parking brake and place the transmission in park (automatic) or the lowest gear (manual). Block the wheels that will remain on the ground.
  2. Positioning the Jack: Locate the vehicle manufacturer's recommended lifting point. Position the hydraulic jack with the rubber pad directly under this point. Ensure the jack is stable and the load will be centered on the saddle.
  3. Dagawa: Close the release valve by turning the handle clockwise until it is tight. Begin pumping the handle (or using the foot pedal) to raise the vehicle to the desired height. Lift only high enough to place the jack stands.
  4. Securing with Jack Stands: Once the vehicle is lifted, position two jack stands under the vehicle's frame or other manufacturer-specified support points. Adjust the stands to the appropriate height and ensure the locking pins are fully engaged.
  5. Lowering onto Stands: Slowly open the release valve by turning the handle counter-clockwise. Allow the vehicle to gently lower onto the jack stands. Once the vehicle is fully supported by the stands, the hydraulic jack can be removed.
  6. Before Working: Gently shake the vehicle to ensure it is stable on the jack stands before commencing any work underneath.

Lowering a Vehicle from Jack Stands:

  1. Reposition Jack: Place the hydraulic jack back under the vehicle's lifting point, ensuring the rubber pad is in place and the load is centered.
  2. Lift Slightly: Close the release valve and pump the jack handle a few times to lift the vehicle slightly off the jack stands.
  3. Remove Stands: Carefully remove the jack stands from underneath the vehicle.
  4. Karamar Mota: Slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise to gradually lower the vehicle to the ground. Ensure a controlled descent.
  5. Remove Jack: Once the vehicle is fully on the ground, remove the hydraulic jack.

  • Dubawa: Before each use, inspect the hydraulic jack and jack stands for any signs of damage, cracks, bends, or excessive wear. Check for hydraulic fluid leaks on the jack. Do not use damaged equipment.
  • Tsaftacewa: Keep the jack and stands clean and free of dirt, grease, and debris. Wipe down surfaces with a clean cloth.
  • Lubrication: Periodically lubricate moving parts of the hydraulic jack (e.g., pivot points, wheels) with light machine oil.
  • Ruwan Ruwa: Check the hydraulic fluid level periodically. To do this, ensure the jack is fully lowered and on a level surface. Remove the oil filler plug and add high-quality hydraulic jack oil if needed, ensuring not to overfill. Refer to the jack's specific instructions for filler plug location.
  • Ajiya: Store the jack and stands in a dry, clean area. Always store the hydraulic jack in the fully lowered position to protect the hydraulic seals.
