The Scheppach EHT610 hedge trimmer comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:

- Top trimming: Hold the hedge trimmer at a slight angle to the top of the hedge, moving it in a sweeping motion.
- Gyaran gefe: Work from the bottom upwards, using a wide, sweeping motion. This helps ensure cut material falls away from the uncut hedge.
- Iyawar yanke: The hedge trimmer is suitable for branches up to a maximum diameter of 24 mm. Do not force the blades through thicker branches.
